Lucy completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2016, graduating with Distinction.

Since then she has worked within maternity and women's health both within the public and private sectors. A strong interest in Women’s Health is what made Lucy want to pursue a career in physiotherapy and this led her to commence the graduate certificate in pelvic floor physiotherapy which she completed in 2021. She is currently based at our Geelong site at Berth - working as a senior women's health physiotherapist, alongside some of the region's busiest obstetricians and gynaecologists.

Throughout her career she has gained extensive experience in managing various pelvic floor conditions. She has a special interest in the management of pelvic pain and endometriosis, assisting women to achieve their post natal exercise goals and to remain as comfortable and active during pregnancy as possible. She also recently completed further training in advanced pessary management and fitting. She has completed comprehensive pilates training in the past and enjoys this form of exercise herself, recognising its benefits first hand. She also assists our clinical lead and director Lynne with a monthly presentation at Berth detailing the benefits of physiotherapy in pregnancy, birth preparation and the post partum period.

She has also completed her own postnatal rehab after having her two children, returning to running, surfing and hiking and enjoys living an active lifestyle with her family on the Surf Coast!
