Medicare

If you have been referred on a GP chronic care management plan (GPCCMP) by your GP, there is a medicare rebate available. It is currently $63.40 and the rest of your consultation fee is out of pocket (fees online), higher rebates are possible if you have already reached your medicare safety net but are determined by medicare. We are able to process this on the spot for you via our EFTPOS terminal if you bring your paperwork, medicare cards and a bank card to have the rebate refunded (credit cards do not work).

Third-Party Funding and Referrals

Please note that we are not currently registered providers for TAC, WorkCover, NDIS, or DVA. However, if you are self-managing your plan, you are welcome to access our services as a private-paying client and seek reimbursement directly from your funding body.

Payment and Cancellation

Payment is required on the day of consultation, all fees are listed in detail on our website with private health codes, please check these prior to your appointment. At Surf Coast Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinic, we strive to provide exceptional care and service to all of our valued patients. In order to maintain the high quality of our services and accommodate the needs of all our patients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

No-shows and Failure to Attend: If a patient fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice or cancels the appointment after the scheduled time, the full fee for the session will be charged.

Same-Day Cancellations: If a patient needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment on the same day, we kindly request that they provide us with a minimum of 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation charge of $50.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are committed to being understanding and flexible whenever possible. However, please note that our practitioners dedicate their time and expertise to each appointment, and late cancellations or no-shows prevent us from offering the appointment slot to other patients in need and fairly compensating clinicians for their session preparation.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our cancellation policy.
