Amber Johannesen

Myotherapy and Remedial Massage

Amber's interest in musculoskeletal pain management grew after she suffered a costly and chronic back injury that found relief and consistent improvement from Myotherapy treatments. This experience fuelled her career change and genuine, strong passion to empower people to live pain-free and improve their physical functionality. Amber completed her remedial massage diploma at Victoria University in 2019 and went on to study Myotherapy at MIMT.

In her treatments, Amber uses a range of techniques, but has a particular interest in muscle energy techniques, dry needling, cupping, joint mobilisations, and clinical assessment to help identify and address the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction. She is passionately dedicated to helping people improve their overall well-being by providing holistic massage treatments that promote relaxation, stress reduction, mood elevation, and pain relief.

What's more, she encourages her clients to take charge of their own health by providing them with homecare, mobility exercises, and breathing techniques to help reduce pain, stress, and restore optimal range of motion.

Amber is thrilled to be a part of the Surf Coast community, both as a resident and a healthcare provider.

Tennielle is our receptionist and likely who you will speak to if you call.  She comes to us with a wealth of experience from a real estate background and has proven herself to be a favourite with staff and clients due to her willingness to help and her professionalism.

She is also our resident baby whisperer and often has cuddles when mums are in sessions! Tennielle is kept busy with her own two school age kids at home too.

Penny is our other delightful receptionist and comes to us from a background in the administrative side of a plumbing business. A fair change from what she is used to but Penny shares our passion for excellent services for women and is such a delight behind our reception desk!
