Lynne Watts

Lynne Graduated with a Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2005 from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has since worked in various roles across public and private Health sectors in the UK, New Zealand and Australia in predominantly musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy roles. She qualified as a Pilates instructor 18 years ago and has been very passionate about practicing and teaching it ever since, and presented Pilates courses to Physiotherapists for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute for several years. Lynne has always been passionate about the pregnant and postnatal populations and went on to further her clinical skills in this area in 2016 by completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. She has also completed many professional development courses, most notably advanced pelvic floor courses, a Certificate in Advanced Sports Rehab and fits pessaries for vaginal prolapse. Lynne is also a Surf Coast mum of two and not only has unique clinical knowledge of the demands of this special time on your body but understands pregnancy, birth, and post natal mum life as she has experienced it first hand! Lynne thinks that working with pregnant and post natal mums is a real privilege and is passionate about educating and delivering the benefits that Physio and pilates have to offer.

Jacqui Callea

Jacqui completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne in 2010 and went on to study at postgraduate level pelvic floor physio in 2017.  

She has extensive experience in both private practice and hospital settings and is passionate about assisting women achieve their goals, and enjoys problem-solving through musculoskeletal and pelvic-floor related barriers.

Jacqui has a profound respect for the female body and enjoys helping women of all ages be healthy and empowered. Jacqui spent the several years in general private practice so has a great background for those clients wanting to have someone blend both rehab, musculoskeletal issues and pelvic health.

Jacqui has recently joined SCPP after making a sea change with her husband and two young boys and is excited to start working with the lovely coastal community we have!

Lucy Henningham

Lucy completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2016, graduating with Distinction.

Since then she has been working both within the public and private sectors at some of Melbourne’s busiest hospitals. She has spent the past two years working within Maternity and Women’s Health in both a hospital and private practice setting. A strong interest in Women’s Health is what made Lucy want to pursue a career in physiotherapy and this lead her to commence the graduate certificate in pelvic floor physiotherapy.

She is passionate about helping women stay active and feel good at all stages of life including during pregnancy and the post natal period.  She has completed comprehensive pilates training in the past and enjoys this form of exercise herself, recognising its benefits first hand.

 She has also just completed her own postnatal rehab after having her son! Lucy loves living on the Surf Coast and is very excited about working within her local community. 

Stacey Hunter

Stacey graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

She has since worked in a variety of clinical settings in both public and private healthcare sectors. 

Throughout this time Stacey developed a strong interest in Women’s Health particularly during pregnancy and the post natal period.Stacey has completed post graduate study in Clinical Pilates and Women’s Health.

She has also completed the Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor and Continence Physiotherapy at Melbourne University. 

Outside of work Stacey can be found down at the beach with her husband, young daughter and their cheeky beagle. 

Stacey is very excited to be joining the team at Surfcoast Physiotherapy and Pilates!

Jemma Dusink

Jemma graduated with a Doctorate of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne in 2013.

Since then she has predominantly specialised in Women’s Health and complimented her clinical practice by completing post-graduate studies in pelvic floor physiotherapy.

After working at public and private hospitals as well as multiple private practices, she has gained extensive experience in treating and managing various pelvic floor disorders and musculoskeletal issues.Jemma has a special interest in treating the pelvic floor in the sporting female population, complex pelvic pain, prolapse and pessary management.

Furthermore Jemma has worked as a clinical tutor in the Undergraduate and Masters level physiotherapy programs at the University of Melbourne.

Outside of work, Jemma enjoys running, paddle boarding and going on adventures with her young family. 

Jemma is delighted to be apart of the SCPP team and endeavours to support the Surf Coast community with her physiotherapy expertise.

Meghann Cutler

Meghann completed her Masters of Physiotherapy Practice through La Trobe University in 2017, having previously completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Human Structure and Function through The University of Melbourne.

Since then, she has worked in the private sector treating clients with a variety of musculoskeletal complaints. After having her first child, Meghann discovered her love and passion for women’s health physiotherapy and has completed further study to best support women through all life stages to be at their best. 

Being a mother of three, Meghann understands how physically demanding pregnancy and motherhood can be on the body and has a particular interest in supporting women during the perinatal period. Meghann is passionate about combining exercise rehabilitation, education, and hands-on physiotherapy to empower and support women to feel their best.

Sarah graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy in the UK in 2010. She worked in hospitals and outpatient clinics for the NHS in the UK before heading over to the other side of the world in 2013. She has since worked in private practice clinics in Wellington and Queenstown in New Zealand, and Phillip Island and Cairns in Australia.  

Sarah is an experienced clinician who takes a holistic approach to health and wellbeing with her clients.  She will always aim to empower you to take control of your own rehabilitation and injury management so that you can get back to doing what you love. She also has a longstanding passion for Pilates and has been teaching Clinical Pilates for many years now. 

Sarah has always had a love for Yoga since she can remember, and she became a certified Yoga teacher in Goa during her time travelling in India.   She has a special interest in neck and back dysfunction, running injuries, hip injuries, as well as pelvic health, including pregnancy, post-natal health, and women’s health.

Sarah has a love for travel and over the years has had the opportunity to explore South East Asia, Fiji, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Australia and New Zealand before settling in the Surf Coast with her husband and their daughter.  In her spare time, when she’s not at the park with her little girl, Sarah enjoys practising Pilates and Yoga, as well as hiking and running, and when she gets the chance, scuba diving and snowboarding! She also enjoys getting involved in charity running events and volunteering for conservation beach clean ups.

Amber Johannesen

Myotherapy and Remedial Massage

Amber's interest in musculoskeletal pain management grew after she suffered a costly and chronic back injury that found relief and consistent improvement from Myotherapy treatments. This experience fuelled her career change and genuine, strong passion to empower people to live pain-free and improve their physical functionality. Amber completed her remedial massage diploma at Victoria University in 2019 and went on to study Myotherapy at MIMT.

In her treatments, Amber uses a range of techniques, but has a particular interest in muscle energy techniques, dry needling, cupping, joint mobilisations, and clinical assessment to help identify and address the underlying cause of pain and dysfunction. She is passionately dedicated to helping people improve their overall well-being by providing holistic massage treatments that promote relaxation, stress reduction, mood elevation, and pain relief.

What's more, she encourages her clients to take charge of their own health by providing them with homecare, mobility exercises, and breathing techniques to help reduce pain, stress, and restore optimal range of motion.

Amber is thrilled to be a part of the Surf Coast community, both as a resident and a healthcare provider.

Tennielle

Reception

Tennielle is our receptionist and likely who you will speak to if you call.  She comes to us with a wealth of experience from a real estate background and has proven herself to be a favourite with staff and clients due to her willingness to help and her professionalism. 

She is also our resident baby whisperer and often has cuddles when mums are in sessions! Tennielle is kept busy with her own two school age kids at home too.

Penny

Reception

Penny is our other delightful receptionist and comes to us from a background in the administrative side of a plumbing business. A fair change from what she is used to but Penny shares our passion for excellent services for women and is such a delight behind our reception desk!

Penny also has two girls and loves to exercise and spend time with her family.
