Lynne is a Senior Physiotherapist and Clinical Lead in pelvic health at Surf Coast Physio & Pilates. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2005 from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and has since worked across public and private health services in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Her clinical background spans musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy, which she integrates into her pelvic health practice.
Lynne completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne in 2016, which formalised her focus in women’s and pelvic health. She has advanced scope training in pessary fitting for pelvic organ prolapse and manages a wide range of complex pelvic health presentations including prolapse, pelvic pain conditions, bladder pain syndrome, postnatal rehabilitation, abdominal separation and pre and post prostate surgery care.
Lynne has been fitting pessaries clinically for over 5 years. She engages in ongoing advanced professional development in fitting and management of pessaries with WHTA, and has also contributed to education in this area through teaching on pessary fitting courses in recent years.
Lynne has been a Pilates instructor for over 20 years and has taught Pilates to physiotherapists through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute for several years. She continues to integrate clinical Pilates into rehabilitation programs, particularly for pelvic health, pregnancy and postnatal recovery. Lynne has more recently joined the Australian Physiotherapy Association course presenting team delivering pelvic health courses to physiotherapists.
Her clinical focus includes pregnancy and postnatal care, prolapse management, pelvic floor dysfunction, male pelvic health and complex persistent pelvic pain presentations. She is known for taking a structured, problem solving approach to complex cases and for combining pelvic health expertise with broader musculoskeletal assessment and rehabilitation principles.
Lynne is a Surf Coast mum of two and brings a grounded understanding of pregnancy, birth and postnatal recovery into her clinical work. She values clear education and practical, individualised rehabilitation that supports people to return to meaningful activity with confidence.
